Theresa Flores

Office Manager

Theresa began her dental career 30 years ago as a part-time receptionist after school. After serving in the U.S. Navy as an Electronics Technician she rejoined the civilian world as a Dental Assistant. Her current role is that of Office Manager but she has spent time as a Treatment and Financial Coordinator in the dental office and as well has performed other front office positions.

Outside of the office, Theresa’s life is enriched by her husband, son and two dogs. She enjoys reading, camping and baseball.

Melissa Corkrey

Dental Hygienist

Missy considers herself a hygiene coach and cheerleader to her patients and loves helping people discover the power they have to take charge of their own health. She truly loves her profession and enjoys interacting with all the patients. You may see her patients with a pillow and blanket enjoying the massage chair as she makes patients feel comfortable and at ease.

Missy and her husband Jim have two children, two dogs, two cats and several fish and chickens on their small farm in Philomont, Virginia where they have lived for the past 15 years.

Missy enjoys gardening and fishing in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Debbie Scalise

Dental Hygienist

Debbie grew up in Southern West Virginia and attended hygiene school at West Virginia Institute of Technology. Most of her working career has been spent in Massachusetts before moving to Virginia in 2005.

Debbie loves the dental profession, because she is able to help individuals become healthier. Debbie feels blessed to be able to meet a multitude of amazingly interesting patients.

Debbie has two grown children and two grandchildren that are the light of her life. She loves spending time with her family and also enjoys hiking, kayaking and yoga as well as loves to cook.

Debbie Trout

Clinical/Administrative Assistant

Debbie helps keep the practice running smoothly from the front desk’s administrative duties to the doctor’s chairside as well as assisting in the hygiene department. What stimulates Debbie every day is the feeling that she is helping to improve people’s lives and she gets to do a little bit of everything in the office. “I enjoy the challenges and diversification that the dental environment offers. There is a great sense of accomplishment and collaboration. It’s a wonderful feeling motivating patients to be proactive in maintaining their smile and overall health.”

Debbie earned her degree in Health Science with a concentration in Dental Assisting. She is a potter in her spare time and is actively involved in supporting her daughter’s talent as a synchronized ice skater and college student.

Kelley Cantner

Dental Assistant

Kelley was born and raised in Northern Virginia. She studied dental assisting at ECPI University earning a degree in Applied Science. Kelley enjoys working in the dental field and gets a sense of fulfillment daily knowing she has helped a patient gain confidence through their beautiful smile. She strives to make every patient smile before they leave the office.

Kelley enjoys volunteering in outside dental activities but her favorite down time activities include playing baseball with her son, long boarding and kayaking.
